About the doghouse

“Your Dog is MY House Guest”
The Doghouse is a Boarding and Daycare facility located in Porter's Lake, close to Halifax and Dartmouth, and accessible to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. We offer daycare, kenneling and the option of overnight boarding in home if preferred.
Situated on 14 acres of beautiful wood lands, the natural surroundings are there for your companions to enjoy. We provide multiple fenced in areas for outdoor activity including a wooded fenced in area. We provide supervised play, socialization and mental stimulation with an indoor playroom and even a weather protected outdoor run.
All pets receive 24 hour care. Living on site your pet is my special guest where their needs are my number one priority. The Doghouse Kennel is heated and/or air conditioned so your dog will always be comfortable. Every guest dog is provided a cozy comforter and a blanket. (feel free to bring your dog's special things so she/he will feel more at home)
